Founded on the Rock offers free, faith-based planners and organizational tools for hard seasons — grief and loss, illness and caregiving, new parenthood, adoption, marriage, and other transitions. Everything here is provided for general information, organization, and spiritual encouragement.
Not professional advice
Our planners are not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and they are not a substitute for care from someone qualified to give it. Some of our planners touch subjects that sit close to professional territory — a medical binder, a funeral or estate checklist, a caregiving organizer — and they are meant to help you keep track of your own situation, not to tell you what to do in it.
Please talk with your own physician, licensed counselor, attorney, financial adviser, or other qualified professional about your specific circumstances. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read here.
No professional relationship
Using this site, downloading a planner, or contacting us does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship. We are not a church, a counseling practice, or a licensed provider of clinical services, and nothing here is clinical counseling or therapy.
If you are in crisis
These planners are not for emergencies. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). In the United States, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available around the clock — call or text 988 — and the Crisis Text Line can be reached by texting HOME to 741741. Outside the US, please contact your local emergency or crisis service.
Your circumstances, your decisions
Every season looks different, and outcomes vary. Our checklists are general starting points, not exhaustive lists, and requirements around things like estate paperwork, funeral arrangements, medical records, and adoption differ by state and country and change over time. Decisions about your family, your health, and your affairs remain yours. We don’t guarantee any particular result.
Scripture & spiritual content
Scripture is quoted throughout as encouragement, in the conviction that God’s Word is a steady foundation in unsteady seasons. We hold our convictions sincerely (see our statement of beliefs), but we don’t stand in the place of your local church. For pastoral care, discipleship, and spiritual counsel, we’d encourage you toward your own pastor and congregation.
Third-party links & services
We link to outside resources when we think they’ll help, and we rely on outside companies to run parts of the site — Lulu prints and ships the printed planners, Stripe processes payments. We don’t control those sites or services, a link isn’t an endorsement of everything on the other end, and their own terms and policies govern your dealings with them.
Provided as is
We work to keep the planners accurate and the site running, but everything here is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Founded on the Rock is not liable for any loss or damages arising from your use of this site or its materials. See our Terms of Service for the rest.
Changes
We may update this disclaimer; we’ll revise the date above when we do. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
